Fit and Functional is now offering NFPT 2 Day Personal Trainer Certification classes. Each student will receive study materials prior to the exam which they must bring in to follow along with our instructional presentation. Tests are offered at the end of the second day between 2:30-4:30 or may be taken at another time.
When you purchase this live course You will be automatically enrolled in the Home Study Course as well where you can access study materials you can use to prepare for your live course and continue to use as you prepare for your NFPT certification exam. Just sign into the Fit and Functional web portal (at the bottom of the homepage) and you will be redirected to your dashboard where you can access the home study course.
Testing: We urge students to take the computer based exam which you need to sign up for online with at least 7 days notice. We offer this testing method onsite following the course and there are many sites throughout the US that offer it as well. Results are given on the spot. There is a $49.00 fee for computer based testing which is included in your course fee. To register for your exam login to the NFPT site with your PIN and click certification which will have a link for the exam. YOU DO NOT PAY OR SIGN UP AT THE EXAM LOCATION. YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE AT LEAST 10 DAYS in ADVANCE.
Discounted registration is available for Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Military Personnel and Affiliated Health Club Staff. The discounted price is $529 and you must enter discount code CLUBSTAFF while checking out to get the discount.
* To be eligible for the special discount you must furnish proof of employment in the form of either work identification or a paystub. Failure to provide the necessary proof forfeits the discount and any right to a refund. Students must pay the full price if they do not bring the required documents.
Students must register for the test at least 10 days prior at www.NFPT.com/certification
* Courses are $629 unless the student is eligible for the health club/facility staff member discount.
** Students will be allowed the option of taking a paper test or taking the test on a computer. Students that choose to test on the computer must give one week notice and will receive their scores immediately after testing. Students who choose to take the paper test must allow two weeks notice for the test to be ordered and three weeks for the test to be graded and results to be made available.
To avoid reschedule fees students must cancel at least 1 week before the live class is scheduled. No shows will forfeit their workshop fee and may attend the next class for a $100 fee. There are no refunds on the NFPT course itself or the live workshop.
